Through technological innovations, computers are made smaller and smaller through the years. They are designed small for added function and portability. Many companies are manufacturing and developing the smallest computer they can design. Small computers are not only stylish but are also very functional because they are portable and easy to carry anywhere. Portability is the main advantage of small computers as well as increased versatility because its design and features allow computer users to use this type of device to accomplish computer-related tasks in different kinds of environments. There have been many small computers invented that could claim to be the smallest computer. However, some are incomparable to each other because they differ in functions and types.

Mini notebooks are designed like laptops but they are smaller, lighter and less expensive compared to regular laptops. They are also very affordable compared to laptops. Although they are designed with less computing power and lower specifications to reduce their size and weight, through the years of technological advancement and computer innovations, there are mini notebooks that are designed to have the functions of conventional laptops but are still smaller in size and lighter in weight.

Another type of small computer is the Tablet PC, a tablet-like computer which is very portable like smart-phones but has the processing power like laptops and functionality of a PC. Prices for this type of small computer may vary depending on the power and specifications of the mini notebook. There are also small computers designed for travelling like Marin/Auto computers which are designed for maximum portability to keep up with the hassles of frequent travel.

Space Cube is just two inches wide and two inches tall which looks like a large die. Space Cube is very functional because it has functions just like regular, conventional PCs.
